In 1995, we planted our first vines in the legendary soils of Wilyabrup, Margaret River. A few years later, in the Perth Hills we built FAIRBROSSEN, a Winery, vineyard and restaurant that became known for seriously great wines and un-seriously good times.
Then in 2019 the allure of Margaret River region was too strong to resist. Matt and Steph made the call to move the whole operation, family and all, back to where it all began. New vines were planted, old favourites were nurtured, and with the new winery literally steps from their front door Matt has been able to dial in even more magic in the vineyard and the cellar.
After years of hard work, and a lot of dirt under the fingernails, this exciting new chapter is here, in Witchcliffe (Southern Margaret River).
